Hunch. Neither Yvette Cooper nor the government has given a date for the children's plan.
The corridor care plan market resolves YES if by the end of 12 November 2026, London time, NHS England or the Department of Health and Social Care publishes on england.nhs.uk or GOV.UK the plan or standards on corridor care or children in A&E that Yvette Cooper asked for on 18 October, and the date stays even if the October figures move. A statement, interview or press release without the document, or a letter to hospitals without a plan or standards, counts as NO, and BBC News and The Guardian settle it if the official pages are silent.
We looked for cases where a UK minister said in public that they had asked a public body, such as NHS England or a regulator, for an urgent plan, review or advice. We found four such requests from 2019 to 2025. In none of them did the document come out within 25 days, the time from Cooper's request to the 12 November figures. Only one of the four was a plan. The other three were reviews.
