Resolves YES if by 31 December 2026 the European Broadcasting Union or RTV Slovenija publicly confirms that Slovenia takes part in Eurovision 2027, and that confirmation is not withdrawn by that day. A refusal, a withdrawn confirmation or no confirmation by 31 December is NO, and if the EBU and RTV Slovenija pages do not open, BBC and Guardian reports decide.
We looked for cases where a country stayed away from Eurovision in protest at another country, the host or the organisers, and then had to decide about the next contest. We found seven such times since 1975.
