How this resolves

Resolves YES if the festival states a general admission price above £400.00 including booking fee on or before 30 September 2026, published at glastonburyfestivals.co.uk. Postage and packing are excluded from the figure. If that source has not published in time, the price as reported by two of BBC News, The Guardian and The Independent settle it.

The pattern behind it

3 of 4
Three of the four sales on this page cleared in an hour or less. The full record is stronger and its exception is the one that matters here: eight consecutive sales have gone in under an hour, the streak the BBC counted in November 2024, and the sale immediately before that streak was the October 2012 sale after the last fallow year, which took an hour and 40 minutes. The open questions for 2027 are the sale date, still unnamed, and how far the price jumps after two years of pent-up demand.

Eight sales in a row have sold out in under an hour. We looked at Glastonbury's general ticket sales since October 2012, when tickets for 2013 went on sale during the 2012 year off. That sale took longer, an hour and 40 minutes. The record also shows that prices rise most in the sales that follow a break.
