No completed sale of Glens of Antrim Potatoes, any part of it, its brand or a site was announced by 21 October 2026: Interpath's site has only its 21 September statement on the administration, Companies House shows no sale filing (the administrators' proposals filed on 23 October are still being processed), and BBC News reported none.
Hunch. No sale was announced with the appointment, which rules out the two day-one sales in the record, and the Glens of Antrim Crisps name may sit in a separate family company that is not in administration.
The 21 October market resolves on statements by Interpath, the Companies House record for Glens of Antrim Potatoes (NI030390), and reports in BBC News and the Belfast Telegraph or Irish News: YES if a sale of the business, any part of it, the Glens of Antrim brand or a site completes by 21 October 2026. Sales of stock, crops, vehicles or single machines do not count, and a deal only agreed resolves NO.
We looked for UK food producers that went into administration and stopped work. For each we asked whether the administrators sold all or part of the business, its brand or a factory site within 31 days. Sales of stock, debts, vehicles or loose machinery alone do not count. We found 20 cases since 2010 and checked them against the administrators' own reports at Companies House. The ten closest to Glens are shown, closest first. In four of the ten, part of the firm was sold within 15 days. None of the cases is from Northern Ireland, which has its own insolvency law with the same eight-week deadline.
