Hunch. The record has no sale between day 16 and day 153, so the extra weeks add little to the chance of a sale by 21 October.
The 16 November market resolves on the administrators' proposals, due at Companies House by 15 November under Schedule B1 paragraph 50, and the same statements and reports: YES if a sale of the business, any part of it, the brand or a site completes by 16 November 2026. If the proposals are late, Interpath statements and two whitelisted reports settle it.
We looked for UK food producers that went into administration and stopped work. For each we asked whether the administrators sold all or part of the business, its brand or a factory site within 31 days. Sales of stock, debts, vehicles or loose machinery alone do not count. We found 20 cases since 2010 and checked them against the administrators' own reports at Companies House. The ten closest to Glens are shown, closest first. In four of the ten, part of the firm was sold within 15 days. None of the cases is from Northern Ireland, which has its own insolvency law with the same eight-week deadline.
