Resolved: NO

By 27 October 2026 Rockstar announced no new delay: its Grand Theft Auto VI page still says November 19, 2026, and Variety on 27 October gives the same date.

Why these numbers

History. 2 of 6: Cyberpunk 2077 moved 23 days before its date, No Time To Die 41 days before.

Hunch. Rockstar and its music partner promoted the 19 November date again on 8 October, six weeks before launch.

How this resolves

The delay market resolves on rockstargames.com and take2games.com, with The Guardian and BBC News as backup. YES if a new date or a delay is announced by the end of 27 October 2026, and NO if not.

The pattern behind it

4 of 6
Four of six times a delayed game or film came out on the date its maker had backed 14 to 63 days before, and twice the maker moved it again.

We looked for cases where a big game or film that had already been delayed had its date backed by its maker, with a trailer, an advert, a song or a new date, 14 to 63 days before release. We found six from 2013 to 2020, three of them films in 2020, when the pandemic closed cinemas.
