Hunch. The two biggest recent NBA sales took 134 and 146 days to win approval, and 30 November is only 110 days after this deal.
The approval market resolves on the NBA press release page: YES if by the end of 30 November 2026 (US Eastern time) the league says its Board of Governors approved the sale of control of the Lakers from Mark Walter to the group of Josh Kushner and Bob Iger, with or without the Buss family share, and NO if no approval is announced by then. ESPN confirms it, and ESPN with BBC Sport settle it if the NBA page cannot be read.
We looked for cases where NBA team owners voted on the sale of control of a team. The league's press releases list 17 such approvals from 2010 to 2026, and no refusal. We took the ten most recent, from 2014 to 2026. The owners approved all ten, and seven press releases say the vote was unanimous. (NBA)
