How this resolves

The market resolves on the official general classification published by race organiser ASO at letour.fr after the final stage in Paris on 26 July 2026. If that source has not published in time, ESPN and BBC Sport race reports settle it.

The pattern behind it

3 of 5
Three of the five Tours the pair have both completed went to Pogacar, two to Vingegaard: a genuine split rather than a trend. The second half of the record is the one that gives the Barcelona bonus seconds their weight — in all five, the rider leading the general classification into the final week rode into Paris in yellow.

Pogacar won three of the five Tours both men finished since 2021. We looked at every Tour since then that both riders completed. In each one they finished first and second, and the rider who led the race going into the third week won it. We ask the same question as the first market: did Pogacar win the race? We used reports from ESPN and Olympics.com and the official results.
