Hunch is built to be read first, predicted second. Before real-money services launch (subject to UKGC licence), here is the toolkit we will operate.
For most people, prediction is a way to test thinking against reality. For some, it stops being that. If you feel any of the following, take action:
Set a maximum number of predictions per day or a maximum time spent on the platform. The platform soft-locks after the limit and prompts a 24-hour cool-down.
Once real-money services are live, set deposit caps per day, week, or month. Increases require a 24-hour cooling period; decreases take effect immediately.
Pause your account for any period from 24 hours to 5 years. Self-exclusion is irreversible within the chosen period — we cannot lift it on request. Account, predictions, and email all paused.
Every 30 minutes of active session time, the platform shows a brief summary of your activity and a Take a break button.
If you're registered with the UK national self-exclusion scheme GAMSTOP, our platform will detect and block sign-up automatically once real-money services launch.
Hunch is for 18+ only. Real-money services require government-issued ID verification at first deposit. Hunch Points (current phase) require account age 18+ on signup.
We do not target advertising at under-18s. We do not advertise during live sports broadcasts. We do not use bonus offers tied to volume. We do not contact self-excluded users.
