Resolved: No new agreement by 7 Aug

Neither AISI nor DSIT announced a new lab partnership or evaluation agreement between 6 July and 7 August; the only new joint work was with the US government’s CAISI, not a lab (aisi.gov.uk; gov.uk).

How this resolves

The partnership market resolves on the first new lab partnership or evaluation agreement announced by AISI or DSIT after 6 July 2026, per official announcement; renewals restating existing agreements do not count, and if multiple labs are named in a single announcement it resolves on the first-named lab.

The pattern behind it

2 of 6
About 2 of 6 announced government–lab access agreements since 2023 led to publicly documented pre-deployment evaluations. The pattern is split: joint UK–US evaluations delivered, while several Bletchley-era pledges produced no public output at all.

Few of these deals led to test results made public. Since the Bletchley summit in 2023, governments and leading AI labs have announced a steady run of testing deals and partnerships. We looked at how many led to a test of a model, made public, before the model's release. About two of six did. The joint UK and US tests delivered, while several promises made at Bletchley produced nothing public.
