Resolved: NO

Revolut confirmed no live UK consumer lending product by 7 August; in June its UK chief said five credit cards would launch “soon”, with no launch announced since (Bloomberg, 4 Jun 2026).

How this resolves

The lending product market resolves YES only if Revolut's UK newsroom or app changelog confirms a loans or credit product available to UK bank customers by the deadline; the Bank of England register and Revolut's official announcements are the source of truth.

The pattern behind it

3 of 4
Three of the four UK app-based banks licensed before Revolut took six or more years from licence to first annual profit. The pattern is split: Zopa managed it in three. Revolut arrives already profitable at group level, which no predecessor could claim.

A UK banking licence is only the start. We looked at the app-based banks licensed in the UK before Revolut and counted the years from licence to their first yearly profit. Most took six years or more. Zopa did it in three.
