No public robotaxi rides had begun by 10 August; Uber and Wayve only received London operating licences on 5 August, with rides expected “later this summer” (BBC; Bloomberg; Sky News, 5–6 Aug 2026).
The launch market resolves YES only if members of the public can book and complete a robotaxi ride in Greater London through Uber or Wayve channels by the deadline; source of truth is official Uber or Wayve announcements confirmed by TfL or DfT permit records. Trial rides restricted to employees, journalists or invited testers do not count as public rides.
