Hunch. Four of the six got their money before the old grant expired, but the two that did not, the Union Learning Fund and the National Citizen Service, are the two where the department already had a replacement in hand, which is exactly where this one stands.
The April market resolves on the same pages, read on 1 April 2027. It resolves YES if the UK Youth Parliament is operating on that day with government money for the year that has just started, and NO if it has closed, has been folded into another scheme, or is running on donations alone. We looked for cases since 2010 where a UK government department, or a body giving out its grants, said it was ending the money for a named programme. We asked whether the same funder then announced new money for that programme, with a figure, within 72 days. A promise with no figure does not count. We found eight. Two came from one campaign and two more from one spending review, so they give six separate decisions.
